Unexpected Theatre is a space for emerging and established artists to showcase their merit, evolve their craft, and showcase high-value art. Where we  lead by example... Exemplifying what it really means to be intentional, inspirational and influential artists in North America.

Our work embodies this through a twofold vision of "Art in Action". In the first half of each season, our artists come directly to you, our community—bringing creativity into public and private spaces through professional development, outreach, and corporate collaborations. In the second half, that same spirit comes alive on stage through contemporary Canadian works and bold re-imaginings of classics and hit musicals. Together, these efforts not only inspire our audiences with a lasting impression but ignite meaningful action long after the final bow.
